* Maya : Indian Women through Indian Art

Maya has progressed to Maya Indian Arts [More]

Maya is Aei4eiA's social initiative to create a sustainable ecosystem to highlight the potential of Indian women- not only as a ready pool of talent but also possible creator of opportunities.

By attempting to bring together

>>  Women artists from India
>> Woman Social Entrepreneur in Australia
 >> Authorities (Indo-Aus relations)
 >> Corporate Houses
 >> Charities/Philanthropy partners
, Maya not only envisage to facilitate women's economic independence and support women's empowerment but also promote knowledge, cultural exchange, tourism and trade between Australia and India....

This is a unique ecosystem where Art, Academia & Research, Trade, Business & Diplomacy co-exist for common good.

As part of this initiative, we are proud to have supported the
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter (HKWS) (from December 2015- November 2016) as our Maya Ecosystem Partner. The Shelter provides temporary supported accommodation for women in times of crisis such as homelessness and /or domestic violence while assisting them through their emotional and physical crisis.

Maya  is inspired by the findings of Aei4eiA’s research “The Brown Beauties of NSW” and our endeavours for the “Causes we care”….

Maya is not an illusion but Strength, Character, Beauty, Courage, Karma and more....

*[Maya  is an alternative name of Hindu Goddess Durga symbolising Women Power] All artworks for this initiative are specially commissioned and sourced from India.
